Logic Pro

For those of you who have inquired about the stages in my studio recording chain: I record through a 32 channel analogue board into my RADAR NYQUIST (using appropriate mic pres of course), then I simply export all tracks to a 16GB USB thumb drive and dump those tracks into the Logic Pro software of my iMAC.  That's where the fun begins!!

Today is the first day my revised website is on-line.  Tim and I are working on adding the black and whites and the polychrome stuff - most of the images in these two categories from slides and negatives I've scanned in on my Nikon Super Coolscan 5000.  These images were taken during my Leica days.  When Leica lagged behind in THE BIG MOVE over to digital, I "Canonized" all my equipment.  I do miss the challenge of 35mm shooting; I don't miss the darkroom labours.

Give me two weeks and all three categories of photos will be up.

Beware: novice blogger ahead.  

I do hope that, in the entries that follow, I can generate the sort of discussion that will benefit both blogger and bloggee.  My interests begin with music-making and recording ... and photography, but they subdivide and multiply very quickly, so we'll have to see where this blogging thing takes us.  ("See you soon," he said blogfully.)
